
Diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah agar kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja di PT. Diperlukan perbaikan berupa perbaikan jalan, melakukan penimbunan kembali kabel dengan kedalaman tanah kurang lebih 2 meter, membangun pondasi untuk menahan tanah, memberikan tanda peringatan bahwa adaya suara bising dipintu masuk pv box agar pekerja menggunakan alat pelindung telinga, dan dilakukan penggantian tanda bahaya. Dari 5 aktivitas berbahaya terdapat 2 aktivitas berbahaya yang terbagi ke dalam very high, terdapat 1 sumber bahaya substantional, terdapat 1 sumber bahaya acceptable, dan terdapat 1 sumber bahaya priority 1.

Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi dan penilaian potensi bahaya yang telah dilakukan, terdapat 5 tingkat klasifikasi yaitu very high, priority 1, substantional, priority 3, dan acceptable. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode Hazard Identification and Risk Assesment (HIRA). Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan saat bekerja. Berdasarkan observasi ditemukan potensi bahaya berupa kabel keluar ke permukaan tanah yang dapat menyebabkan kabel bocor sehingga berpotensi tersandung kabel, tersengat listrik hingga merenggut korban jiwa. Salah satu perusahaan pembangkit listrik di Nusa Tenggara Barat adalah PT. Kebutuhan akan listrik dalam kehidupan sangat berpengaruh terhadap aktifitas manusia. The recommendation that can give is to carry out detailed mitigation of the risk of high (H) and moderate (M) categories until the risk level falls to the risk of the low (L) category before the blast furnace plant is fully operating. The results obtained by using HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment) obtained 26 risks classified by potential hazards, namely nine risks included in the high category (H), seven risks moderate category (M) and the remaining ten risks involved in the low category ( L). and the level of risk of potential occupational hazards. This study uses an approach with the HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment) method to determine the value of the risk of potential occupational hazards. This study aims to determine the value of the risk of work hazard potential and the level of risk of potential occupational hazards in the blast furnace division of hot metal treatment plant which is currently in the commissioning stage.

Based on the result of risk assessment, there are 6 low risk hazards, 6 medium risk hazards, 11 high risk hazards, and 1 extreme risk hazard from the total of 24 hazards in the fabrication plate process tank 42-T-501A. The result showed that there were 6 procedures with 24 potential hazards and 24 occupational risks in the fabrication process tank 42-T- 501A. Primary data obtained through observations and interviews which afterward presented in the form of tables and diagrams to be analyzed descriptively.

The object of this study focuses on PT Pertamina (Persero) RU VI Balongan’s fabrication plate, tank 42-T-501A, workers with a total population of 20 people plus 1 safety inspector.

It is an observational and a cross-sectional study based on research time. This study aimed to identify and assess occupational risk in the fabrication plate process, tank 42-T-501A, at PT Pertamina (Persero) RU VI Balongan. HIRA is a process to identify all risk factor in a company then attempt to quantify the risk and determine whether it is acceptable or not.
